Semboku City has a long history of green tourism centered on agricultural experiences, having accepted educational trips from the Tokyo metropolitan area and so forth since the late 1960s. In recent years, leveraging this expertise, we have actively accepted international exchange groups and school trips from overseas, promoting the globalization of our rural communities.

 We are now recruiting a member to join the Semboku City Rural Experience Association (仙北市農山村体験推進協議会）, a registered regional travel agency, to promote green tourism, including inbound tourism. Semboku City is one of the leading tourist destinations in the Tohoku region and actively responds to national and prefectural inbound tourism policies. Moreover, utilizing tourism resources that even local residents may not recognize is crucial for green tourism.
